The Great Buddha of Kamakura (Kamakura Daibutsu) is a colossal outdoor bronze statue of Amida Buddha located at the Kotoku-in Temple in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Standing at approximately 11.3 meters (37 feet) tall and weighing around 121 tons, it is the second-tallest bronze Buddha statue in Japan, surpassed only by the one at Todai-ji in Nara.
