The National Museum of Western Art

The National Museum of Western Art in Ueno Park is a museum of Western art whose main building was designed by Le Corbusier and completed in 1959. The main building and forecourt form part of the World Heritage listing of his architectural work. The museum complex includes a later wing completed in 1979 and a separate special-exhibition wing completed in 1997.
